About First Aid and allied subjects Examinations
First Aid, Home Nursing and allied courses trainings are imparted in the categories of aerodrome staff, community projects, drivers & conductors, armed forces, police, mines & factories, NCC, civil defense, home guard, railway employees, teachers, students and the general public. In addition, there are also trainings for Home Nursing and allied courses.
There are 3 categories of trainings:
- Professional Certificate for Individuals: 8 days training (minimum 16 hours) at the Training Centre is mandatory for professional certificates before taking the Online First Aid examination at the examination Centre. This First Aid certificate is mandatory for some streams of job. Individuals can register for trainings at Candidate Registration. Click on the link on what individual needs to do. The charges for the training and examination of individuals is Rs1500/- (including GST) for self or Rs1525/- (including GST) at training centre.
- Professional Certificate for Corporates: Other than the professional certificates for individuals, there are some FA trainings in the corporates, which can be of a minimum of 3 days with a minimum training of 16 hours. The training is provided at corporate premises or at the training centre based on the corporate request. The online examination shall be at the pre decided place where the training was conducted. Corporates can request for trainings at Corporates Request. Click on the link on what Corporate needs to do. The age limit is >=16 years. The charges for the training and examination of individuals is Rs1500/- including GST . There are some extra charges for corporates for which they may contact training Centre.
- Certificate for School Students: The schools also provide FA trainings to their students. These certificates are not professional certificates and the training is for 4 days. The examination is web based online examination. The age limit is < 18 years. The charges for the training and examination of individuals is Rs150/- including GST. Any extra charges by the training centre can be enquired from the training centre
Subjects: First Aid (FA)/Home Nursing (HN)/Mother Craft (MC)/Hygiene & Sanitation (HS)/Meckenzie (MS)
Levels: There are 4 levels of trainings for Professional category and 2 levels for student category:
- Senior Professional : It's fresher course. Validity of Certificate is 3 years. The age limit is >=16 years
- Voucher : Only Senior Professional can taken Voucher exam. Validity of Certificate is 5 years . The age limit is >=16 years
- Medallion : Only Voucher valid certificate can taken Medallion exam. Validity of Certificate is Life time. The age limit is >=16 years
- Label : Only Medallion can taken Label exam. Validity of Certificate is Life time. The age limit is >=16 years
- Senior (Student) : For Educational Institutions Students category for age > 12 years or educational institute as school
- Junior (Student) : For Educational Institutions Students category for age < =12 years
