Q1. What are individual candidates?

ANS. Individual candidates may be bus conductors, Home Nursing, Home Guard, andGeneral Public etc.

Q2. What are fast track candidates?

ANS. Teachers, Doctors, Para-medicine and Nurses belongs to fast-track candidate’scategory.

Q3. What are the changes to be paid by candidate?

ANS. Candidate has to pay fees of Rs 1500/- for (SELF) registration and Rs 1525/- for registration by (TRAINING CENTER)

Q4. Is the fees refundable?

ANS. Fees is non- refundable under any circumstances.

Q5. What is type and duration of the theory and practical exam for individualcategory?

ANS. Exam will be computer-based test (CBT), duration of the exam is 45 minutes,paper time: 30 minutes, instruction reading- 15 minutes. There shall be minimum 5minutes for each authority in practical examination.

Q6. What are the weight pages of theory and practical exams?

Ans. Theory and practical have 50-50 marks in each. Each question in theory shallcarry 2 marks candidates has to attend any 25 questions out of 30 questions.

Q7. What is passing criteria for theory with practical?

ANS. 50% for senior professional, 55% for voucher, 60% for medallion.

Q8. What is duration of next level certificate for fast-track candidates?

ANS. Fast track candidates can appear for subsequent level exams within 4 weeks ofattaining a level.

Q9. What are the attendance criteria for appearing for exams?

ANS.

1. FOR INDIVIDUALS:

Training – Minimum 8 days, 2 hours a day i.e., minimum-16 hours.

Attendance (Biometric) – 6 days and minimum 12 hours in total.

2. FOR COOPERATES:

Training – Minimum 3 days and total 16 hours

Attendance (Biometric) – 3 days and minimum 16 hours

3. FOR STUDENTS:

Training – Minimum 4 days and Maximum 16 hours limit

Attendance (Biometric) – Minimum 4 days by school (No Biometric for School)

Q10. What is the duration of the examination?

Ans. Actual exam duration is 40 min. 5 minutes shall be provided for reading instructions. However, 15 minutes has been provided for seating arrangement/issuing instructions by invigilator of candidates. Exam Shall be conducted only. after successful completion of the training.

Q11. Passing marks in the examination?

Ans. Passing marks for the candidate is:

Note: Attempt any 25 questions out of 30 questions, each questions carries 2 marks

Q12. If the candidate fails in the examination, will he/she be able to appear for re-examination? If “Yes” then what is the criteria and fee for re-examination? How many times candidate can apply for re-examination?

Ans. Re-examination should be within 2 months of completion of training and only twice re-examination can be taken. So, in all 3 attempts: 1st is Main exam and 2 attempts for re-exam.

Re-examination Fee is Rs 450/-

Q13. If candidate is pass in Practical & Fail in theory then will he give re exam for theory only or both?

Ans. Both practical and theory needs to be taken. Candidate needs to pass in both theoretical and practical examination.

Q14. How to pay the Re-examination Fee?

Ans. Candidate has to login with their login details.in URL (https://ircsfa.org/) under the tab “Apply for Re-examination”

Q15. How to Reschedule training Batch?

Ans. Candidate has to request Red Cross Centre to De-assign From their Current batch which will be done by NHQ and After De-assign, then Candidate can Select Batch (If Available) in their login as per their convenience.
